Run S13 Coilovers in your R31. Zero Drilling.

R31 owners know the struggle: finding quality suspension options for the Skyline Sedan is tough, while S13 coilovers are everywhere. The problem? The bolt spacing is different. Usually, fitting S13 struts means taking a drill to your pristine strut towers.

The Slide Worx Solution: We engineered these adapters to be the "missing link." They allow you to bolt Nissan Silvia S13 Rear Coilovers directly into your R31 Skyline Sedan using the factory mounting holes.

Why choose these?

  • Save Your Chassis: 100% Bolt-on. No drilling, no cutting, and no permanent modifications to your strut towers.

  • Unlock Better Suspension: Gives you access to the massive variety of S13 coilovers on the market (including our Slide Worx S-Chassis range).

  • Premium Build: CNC Machined from Billet Aluminum and Anodised Gold for a finish that looks as good as it performs.

  • High-Tensile Hardware: Supplied with 12.9 Grade high-strength studs and nuts. We don't skimp on safety.

Fitment:

  • Nissan Skyline R31 (Sedan)

  • Adapts Nissan S13 Rear Coilovers to the R31 chassis.

  • Installation Note:

    • Depending on your specific brand of coilover, you may need to trim the top studs slightly to ensure perfect chassis clearance.

How to Install Slide Worx S13-to-R31 Rear Coilover Adaptors

Don't hack your towers—prep your coilovers the right way. Follow these steps to get your R31 sitting right with a bolt-in solution.

Step 1: Prep the Coilover

Remove the top nuts from your chosen S13 coilovers. Ensure the mounting surface is clean and free of debris.

Step 2: Test Fit the Adaptor

Place the Slide Worx adaptor onto the coilover studs. Slide it all the way down until it seats firmly against the top hat.

Step 3: Mark Your Trim Line

Using a marker or scribe, mark the coilover studs at the exact point where they sit flush with the top of the adaptor spacer.

Note: This ensures the studs won't interfere with your chassis once installed.

Step 4: Protect the Threads

Remove the adaptor. Crucial Step: Screw the factory nuts back onto the studs below your mark before you start cutting. When you unscrew them after trimming, the nuts will "chase" and clean the threads automatically.

Step 5: Trim and Finish

Cut the studs at your mark. Once cut, use a file or grinder to chamfer the edges (angle the tip slightly). This makes starting the nut much easier later on.

Step 6: Final Assembly

Unscrew the nuts to clean the threads, slide your Slide Worx adaptors back on, and you are ready to bolt them directly into your R31 rear towers!

🛠️ Tools Required:

  • Preferred: Angle grinder with a thin cutting disc and a flap disc for chamfering.

  • Manual Option: If you don't have power tools, a hacksaw and a metal file will get the job done just as well.
