Steering Rack Geometry is the often-overlooked factor in a high-angle drift build. When you lower a JZX and add modified knuckles, the steering rack often ends up out of its ideal operating range, leading to "over-centering"—where the steering locks up or becomes hard to pull back at full counter-steer.

The Slide Worx Upgrade: Our High-Tensile Offset Steering Rack Spacers are the ultimate fix for JZX steering geometry. By moving the inner tie rod mounting points forward, these spacers shift the steering rack's pivot point to prevent over-centering. This allows you to run massive steering angle with total confidence that the wheel will always snap back to center.

Why upgrade?

  • Prevent Over-Centering: Moving the rack pivot forward keeps the tie rods and knuckles in a safe operating arc, eliminating that "stuck at full lock" feeling.
