Nissan Silvia and Skyline - 5mm Steering Rack Spacers (Stainless Steel) - Slip-On
More lock. Less money.
This is the single cheapest and easiest handling upgrade you can do to a Nissan drift car. These spacers slip over your steering rack end (between the rack and the tie rod). They allow the rack to travel an extra 5mm inside the housing before hitting the bump stop.
The Result? You get significantly more steering angle instantly. It's the perfect "Stage 1" lock mod for beginners or street drifters.
The Slide Worx Upgrade: Unlike generic washers that can crush or mild steel spacers that rust, ours are machined from 304 Grade Stainless Steel. They are built to handle the massive shock loads of drifting without deforming.
The Specs:
5mm Thickness: The safe limit for standard rack threads (allows for proper thread engagement).
Stainless Steel: Will not rust or corrode.
Easy Install: Simply unscrew the tie rod, slip the spacer on, and screw it back together.
Sold as a Pair: Includes 2 spacers (one for each side).
Fitment:
Nissan Silvia S13 / 180SX / S14 / S15
Nissan Skyline R32 / R33 / R34
Nissan Cefiro A31 / Laurel C33
Installation Note:
Always use Loctite on your tie rods when installing spacers to ensure they don't back out under vibration.
The Slide Worx Promise: Designed, Prototyped & Tested in Altona, Melbourne. We don't just pick parts out of a catalogue. We design and prototype every part in-house, testing the samples on our own cars before they ever go to production. Every single unit is then quality-checked by hand at our Altona HQ. If we wouldn't run it, we don't sell it.
